Headed back to Oaxaca City to reunite with our campervan Igor! We’re definitely ready to get back to our favorite form of travel as we drive down to Panama and back over the next six months or so. In the process, we’ll be adding six new countries to our list!
3,800 kms (2,356 miles) or so over the next 78 days. We hope to be in Panama City by January 20th, give or take.
So, we’re taking the 3:00pm bus from Valle de Bravo to Mexico City this afternoon, and then an overnight bus from Mexico City to Oaxaca City. We will meet up with Igor tomorrow morning, and make arrangements to get his rear brake work done. As soon as that’s complete, we’ll do the drive on the old highway down to Puerto Escondido for a couple of days of beach time visiting with our Mexican family who we haven’t seen since 2020.
The lake here at our house is 98% full. Nice to see the water level so high.

I taught Hugo to play backgammon while he was here. He went back to the paraglider training location on Sunday, feeling pretty much recovered.
